The Wedding of the Year!

1. Have you started your Christmas shopping?
Started, yes. Finished, no.

2. Tell me about one of your special traditions.
In 1978, my mom started buying me an ornament from the Danbury Mint. She quit about 1982, but I kept getting them for myself! I love seeing what the new one looks like every year!

3. When do you put up your tree?
As soon after Thanksgiving as humanly possible!

4. Are you a Black Friday shopper?
NO

5. Do you travel at Christmas or stay home?
We travel up to the White Mountains, but eventually I hope to stay home and let all the kids and grandkids come to us!

6. What is your funniest Christmas memory?
We always did a "White Elephant" gift exchange at my moms and one year my sister brought these "Magic Blue Marbles" that were supposed to have healing powers (or something like that) - well since they were shaped like balls............... you can imagine.......... it got a little out of hand!

7. What is your favorite Christmas movie of all time?
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. It's just not Christmas until we've seen it!

8. Do you do your own Christmas baking? What's your favorite treat?
I love, love, love to bake! Anything and everything! Sugar cookies are probably my favorite, but fudge.......hmmm. Peanut butter fudge..........hmmm. Maraschino Cherry Bars........HMMM.

9. Fake or real tree?
Fake - pre lit. I like being able to haul it out of the garage when I'm ready to put it up!

10. What day does the actual panic set in to get it all done?
About 1 week before Christmas.

11. Are you still wrapping presents on Christmas Eve?
Sometimes even on Christmas morning................

12. What is your favorite family fun time at Christmas?
When I'm with my family, it's all fun!

13. What Christmas Craft do you like the best?
Is decorating sugar cookies a craft?

14. Christmas music? Yes or no, and if yes, what is your favorite song?
YES! (Come on Jen - you seriously don't like "Rockin around the Christmas Tree"!?!?!) I'm one of the ones listening to the ALL MONTH LONG Christmas radio station...........

15. When do you plan to finish all your shopping?
Hopefully before Christmas morning, since there's not much open that day (I know from experience).
